The long awaited commissary sushi stand is now open. There were some sushi sampling plates, inarizushi, western style roll sushi, seaweed salad, calamari salad, and some edamame. A check back later in the day and they were pretty much sold out.
Checking back about 6 weeks later the sushi stand has moved on to "advanced sushi" with dragon rolls and a lot of variety. The spicy mayo they put on the dragon roll was very spicy!
You may wonder if they get their fish from the markets here locally or up in Tokyo. Don't want to put a damper on the operation, but the fish here comes from the U.S. Perhaps it started in Japan or elsewhere, but it then went to the U.S.
