Delicious" and on the same street as

Geodana Latin American Restaurant |
The extensive menu has quite a bit to offer if you're willing to try new dishes. But I wish they had more appetizers, salads, and little side dishes to try such as beans, roasted choclo con (large kernel corn). Having said that, their portions are large on the American scale, and huge on the Japanese scale.
The owner's name is Walter Joe Nnanna. He enlisted the help of some authentic cooks in the kitchen when he started out, but later researched all the dishes himself and improved upon what his cooks were putting out. You see, Walter is from Nigeria, not South America. He loves to cook and has done a wonderful job with the recipes. Although Geodana restaurant has been open only since July 2011, Walter seems to have made his home here for quite a while, also getting into the clothing and club business.
The walls along the L-shaped restaurant are plastered with sketches of famous South American figures. The clientele is strongly American, however, many Japanese seem to come by for take out.
