I'll let you find this place on your own - after all if you're going all the way up to Tokyo you'll likely need to do some research anyway.  I recommend you make reservations as they fill up fast after 6pm.  Their number (call after 4pm) 03-3214-8021.  English is spoken by Andy of course as well as his staff.

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. If you're unsure, just ask Andy for some recommendations. If you'd like to get some bicep curls in, order the large (1000 Yen) draft beer. The fresh grapefruit with mixers is always fun too.

Reliable sources tell me there may be a little treat for the men -be sure to go through the second door when going into the men's bathroom, especially if you're over six foot. And for the double secret bonus, are you able to go through a third door? It's best to find out the answer to that question later in the evening though.  Very confidential sources have disclosed to me the possibility of a third door, but I have concerns over the cogency of that report.
Noodles with pork and vegetables

Fish
The fish here is always served very simply with some lemon and grated daikon to allow you to taste the fish.

Sawagani - deep fried

Be sure to ask Andy about the daily specials. You never know what he found at Tsukuji market that morning.  Andy makes the daily rounds at the market in the morning, picking out the offerings for that evening from his trusted suppliers.  Andy shy's away from farm raised products and insists on freshness and quality - primary benefactor is you. Reasonable prices, fresh food, fun atmosphere.

Shin Hinomoto means a New Day's Foundation. Andy's has been in "the family" for three generations since 1945. After the war ended, the restaurant was seen as a "new beginning or new foundation." Andy, a Brit, married into the family (and its restaurant) and eventually took over the family business. He hasn't looked back since.
