Aficionado Intelligence Report 13

The Oyster House just opened yesterday on an open plot of land near Verny Park. Aficionado agents had inside information after meeting the owner, Suzuki-san, last week over a "casual lunch" with the Mayor. Suzuki-san runs a restaurant food distribution company, and runs a few franchises such as Yakitori-Marukin and Tully's Coffee shop.  The Oyster House is a temporary setup as you can see, and will only be open until around May.  It consists of some tents and a few pre-fab buildings on the back side.

The menu, besides oysters, includes shrimp, scallops (hotate), Yokosuka beef, spareribs, Vienna sausage, bacon, and more. Each table has their own charcoal grill where you can cook up your food.  Seems like it would make for an interesting weekend evening out.

Oyster in hiragana is かき or kaki.

* Aficionado Intelligence Reporting (AIR) was conceived of grey bearded men, through brilliant thought, in a small Izakaya on the backstreets of Yokosuka. AIR reports on little known but exceptional (or maybe just really good) dining spots or interesting food developments and relies on highly untrained observers making random observations and developing conclusions through sometimes single data point regression statistical analysis.

Any conclusions from its reporting are final.
