Earth House

Earth House is in an area of town known as the Honch, which may not be synonymous with good food. But I was pretty impressed with Earth House.

Earth House is a relatively new place, having only been open for about a year. The interior is all freshly done, clean, and inviting. Just a few tables and a short bar. Earth House is located right on Hwy 16 a block or two from the main gate. Of course they are on the blog map.

For lunch they have some set options, with mains such as a hot dog, chili dog, chicken bowl (over rice), salmon bowl, and taco rice.

Their menu is in Japanese and English. You'll have no problem ordering here. The big menu has many American dishes along with your typical Japanese dishes as well.

Like so many places in Yokosuka it appears to be run by a husband and wife team who are working hard. You can tell the energy they have put into their restaurant and are proud of it.

Overall I give Earth House a thumbs up. I'll be back!

They're open from 11:30 to midnight. Only closed for a holiday here or there, meaning they can close when they feel like it. Beauty of owning your own restaurant. Otherwise they are open every day.
