Belle Neige - French Cuisine
In operation since 2005 with chef Tetsuo Kawakami. Prior to opening his own restaurant (a longtime dream of his) Chef Kawakami was a banquet chef at various large and well known hotels in Tokyo, Yokohama, and even Shanghai and Amsterdam.

Belle Neige is located adjacent to a small park near City Hall and on the same street as Hamasushi and Akaoni. See the blog map.

Belle Neige keeps things fairly simple. He and his wife run the place by themselves and offer three set meals for lunch and three set meals for dinner. They are all good.


For lunch his standard dishes are the beef stroganoff and the beef cabbage rolls.  Choice C is a "this week's special" - which is usually a dish based on seasonal ingredients or whatever the chef decides. For lunch you can also get a course set for a lot more money, but I'm not sure what is included in the course.  Perhaps you get all of them. As far as ordering you can just say A, B, or C set and that will work just fine.

Dinner sets are more intricate, interesting, and expensive of course. Photos from one dinner follow the lunch photos. The dinner was excellent. A translated dinner menu is below.

Their website is here and it says they are closed on Sundays and the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. You can view some additional pictures and their menu as well on their website.

For dinner I believe reservations are required. If you can't find someone to make them for you, you can probably visit them during the day or on another evening. Printing and filling out this section may assist you in making reservations not only here but at other places as well.  You can also bring up a calendar on your phone and show them the date. Just be organized and ready to make it a smooth process for both parties.
